Product Description

E-licensing Module

This module allows for the processing of a frequency e-license/authorization. It includes a customizable E-Licensing feature where external operator can submit applications for spectrum via an on-line portal. The E-licensing Module is well integrated with Spectrum-E©’s BRE Engine. The BRE Engine contains the business process rules for the processing of all the data that corresponds to all the business process workflows pertaining to all the radio spectrum services managed by the proposed spectrum management system. Includes the controls/validations for each field and each webform included with each business process.

Technical Analysis Module

Spectrum-E©‘s Technical Analysis Module performs a variety of automated spectrum engineering workflows based on recognized standards and recommendations. Spectrum-E© includes a module known as RunPropMod. RunPropMod performs a variety of automated spectrum engineering workflows based on nationally and internationally recognized standards and recommendations. This includes but is not limited to: Propagation analysis, interference analysis, electromagnetic compatibility analysis, frequency nomination/assignment, population covered analysis, and much more. The Technical Analysis features included with Spectrum-E© are made available to the user through templates to simplify the user interface. Note, that the Technical Analysis Module of Spectrum-E© doesn’t serve as an RF Network Planning software which is one of the main strengths of ICS telecom. The Technical Analysis Module of Spectrum-E© focuses on Frequency Coordination analytical features common to a spectrum manager. The Technical Analysis Module also includes a GIS Module that includes all the digital cartographic data used to reference radio station and radio network locations. The GIS Module also provides terrain elevation, ground conductivity data and clutter information to the Technical Analysis Module. This data includes Digital Terrain Model (DTM) data, ground occupancy information (clutter), ground conductivity and permittivity data from ITU sources (unless otherwise specified), satellite imagery, political maps as well as the ability to import vector data (lines, points, polygons, etc.) in SHP and KML/KMZ formats.

Remote Monitoring Module

Spectrum-E© includes several pre-existing integrations with several popular spectrum monitoring equipment vendors including Rohde & Schwarz, TCI, Anritsu and Keysight. The Remote Monitoring Module of Spectrum-E© allows users to perform remote spectrum monitoring tasks by submitting requests to launch spectrum monitoring measurement campaigns to the spectrum monitoring system’s software interface or, in some cases, directly to the monitoring equipment itself via a socket layer connection. The Remote Monitoring Module allows the user to store measurement results, once returned by the spectrum monitoring system, in the Spectrum-E© database. The Remote Monitoring Module allows the user to output the measurement results into various graphs and ITU compliant reports.
